I love this.
About a year ago, I encountered a situation with my (then) 6 year old daughter where she defined pink as a girl color, and blue as a boy color. I made sure to sit her down and explain that a color is just a color, and no one is defined by the colors they choose to wear. While she still likes wearing a lot of pink (believe me, *not* instilled by me. I donât think I own a single pink piece of clothing LOL) she was quite happy to buy tshirts from the âboysâ department because they had badass stuff on them like Batman, Regular Show, and Adventure Time.
dvek:
Cute and femme donât just apply to women, yaâll.
You can be a furious little genderqueerling and still like things that most people would say are âfeminine.â Genderneutral and genderqueer doesnât need to be âplainâ or âmasculineâ by default, and enjoying or choosing to dress in a way that is seen as feminine or girly isnât weak or submissive, and anyone who assumes that to be true is a misogynistic piece of shit.
Things that define your gender identity:
- You
- Your feelings, opinions, desires, thoughts, needs, etc
Things that do not define your gender identity:
- The color of your clothes
- The gender of other people who wear clothes like yours
- Whether you sit or stand to pee
- What combination of sexual organs you were born with
- What combination of sexual organs you currently have
- The gender of your romantic partner(s)
- The gender of your sexual partner(s)
- The kinds of sexual activity you enjoy
- Other peopleâs assumptions
- Other peopleâs opinions
- I could literally sit here all night and type up this shit
- But I am going to sleep now okÂ
this is the best.Â

Those majestic bald eagles.
0If people are really going to assume that guys with long hair are gay and girls with short hair are lesbians then I am going to assume that all bald men are actually eagles.
My life, in a nutshell.
0It amazes me that I can accurately type at top speed without looking at my keyboard but still pour water down my shirt âcause I missed my mouth in general.
If I can manage to get it installed & working on my kindle (which shouldn’t be a problem)…
0Yup.
0HTTP status ranges in a nutshell: 1xx: hold on 2xx: here you go 3xx: go away 4xx: you fucked up 5xx: I fucked up
