“The software that xPeeps has been running on since we launched beta has had too many technical issues. The 3rd party software vendor we were working with cannot get these problems resolved.
After much deliberation, we’ve decided it’s time to let the current system go and switch xPeeps.com over to another system provided by Streamate. As of Noon eastern standard time tomorrow, Friday, September 7th, the new Streamate version of the site will take over xPeeps.com. Please also make sure that you get any contacts, emails, images, etc. copied off of the current xPeeps.com before we take the current site down completely.” Sadly, the classic version did not get the 24 hour notice so a lot of people will get that surprise when they go to log in to check their messages. It sucks but at the same time there really isn’t much traffic on that version of the site anymore so it shouldn’t be too big of a loss. Plus many users switched over to a different adult social networking site (mainly fetlife) or offered their Facebook links back when the classic site was first introduced when the new cam site launched.
