One thing I really hope that comes out of this, if the shut down is an extended one: All of those people furloughed who have to go between choosing food next month & rent, or electricity, etc – remember that feeling. THAT is what millions of Americans deal with every single day of their lives. Unemployed/underemployed due to no jobs being available, or only minimum wage regardless of your qualifications: That’s an every day thing for so many out there.

So when you go to choose who you vote for next election – look at their voting records. Look how they stand on the issues of treating the poor, job creation, minimum wage, etc. As Jiminy Cricket would say – let your conscience be your guide.
